Social Security Changes
It does not matter if you personally like or dislike Bush. You need to sign this petition and flood his e-mail box with e-mails that tell him that, even if the House passes this bill, he needs to veto it. It is already impossible to live on Social Security alone. If the government gives benefits to "illegal" aliens who have never contributed, where does that leave those of us who have paid into Social Security all our working lives? As stated below, the Senate voted this week to allow "illegal" aliens access to Social Security benefits. Attached is an opportunity to sign a petition that requires citizenship for eligibility
to that social service.

Dear Mr. President:
We, the undersigned, protest the bill that the Senate voted upon recently which would allow illegal aliens to access our Social Security.
We demand that you and all Congressional representatives require citizenship as a prerequisite for social services in the United States.
We further demand that there not be any amnesty given to illegals, NO free services, no funding, no payments to and for illegal immigrants.
We are fed up with the lack of action about this matter and are tired of "paying" for services to illegals!

When are you phony, hypocritical, nativist, prejudicial, so-called "Christian" bastards going to stop disseminating this bullshit?
1. Jesus Christ, one only has to read the tripe having to do with not being able to "live on Social Security alone" to realize whoever wrote this shit has oatmeal for brains. I challenge the writer to produce one iota, one shred of evidence, of official reference regarding the objective of Social Security benefits to afford a 65 yo person the ability to retire and live on the benefits "alone." The original intent, as it remains today, of the Social Security Act was to "alleviate the hazards of old age, unemployment, illness, and dependency; to establish a Social Insurance Board in the Department of Labor, to raise revenue, and for other purposes." "Assistance" does not, nor has it ever, mean "total sustenance." The average monthly Social Security benefit for an aged couple today is $1,648. If the husband lives 13 years beyond 65 and the widow lives another 4 years, their benefits would be well over $300,000 without figuring COLAs. Even allowing for inflation adjusted dollars this figure would far outstrip employee contributions.
2. "Illegals- never-contributed", etc. I again challenge the writer of this pab to produce evidence of ANYONE, legal, immigrant, illegal or the god damned Pope receiving monthly SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS that has NOT contributed an amount commensurate with benefits received. SHOW ME!!!
3. "Where does that leave those of us who have paid into SS all our working lives", aw, poor babies, ain't you gettin your fair share? It leaves you exactly where you belong, you dumb shit!! What does it matter to you, or you, or you what anyone else receives in benefits if those benefits are based on what the other person contributed to the system, as YOUR benefits are also calculated?
God almighty, imagine millions of illegals making $10/hr and more, slitting pigs' throats, draining blood and pulling guts...we've simply got to protect America and stop this rip off!
How many of the signatories of this moronic, thinly veiled anti, biased, ethno-prejudicial dreck know how many BILLIONS of dollars are contributed every year to FICA taxes that are forfeited by illegals? Come on, you'all have the answers on everything Mexican...how many billions are forfeited and what happens to it?
How many of you can list, say, the top ten corporate welfare programs that aggregate in excess of $100,000,000,000? How many of you know the number of corporate welfare programs in the country? 100, 300, 500? All paid for by you, so I expect you all have at least a ball park figure in mind and these billions and billions of taxpayer hand-outs are OK with you.
We all eat and we all have some idea of the greatness of American agriculture, right? How many of you know what the farm subsidy costs you? How many can name the top 10 or 20 recipients of these millions of dollars and what their corporate profits are exclusive of our taxpayer hand-outs? Were I to tell you "who" and "how much", would you sign a petition to stop it? Quick, how much money do you, the taxpayer that's so pissed off about Mexicans apparently costing you money, GIVE to the manufacturers of ethanol, per gallon? As smart as you all are you can quickly figure out how much ethanol costs you: 2006 production, 3.8 billion barrels, 42 gallons per barrel, TAX CREDIT PER GALLON $ 0.51. And this is the tip of the iceberg, for the first time in our history wheat sold for $9.00 a bushel!!! $9.00!!! Because acreage normally planted in wheat was planted to corn for ethanol, and the corn went to almost $5.00/bu. Same with soybeans. Ask mom what the price of beef is...that made all time highs, as did pork, chickens, turkeys because of the price of corn feed. Even with all the ethanol, 5 billion barrels this year, oil hit an all time high TODAY of $80!! Ethanol is a cruel joke played on the American taxpayer and you people ought to be signing petitions that have merit, instead of stupid, immoral, unChristian, nativist biases
